Available Positions

1. Chief Director – Veterinary Services (Ref No: REFS/022120)

Location: Johannesburg (Head Office)
Salary: R1 436 022 per annum (all-inclusive package)

Requirements:

  • A recognized undergraduate qualification in Veterinary Science (NQF Level 7).
  • 5 years of senior managerial experience.
  • Registered with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC).
  • Successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme (Nyukela).
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
  • Competencies in leadership, financial management, strategic planning, project management, and knowledge of relevant legislation (Animal Diseases Act, Meat Safety Act, and more).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee animal disease control, veterinary public health, and trade facilitation services.
  • Manage veterinary transversal services, including epidemiology, risk analysis, and laboratory diagnostics.
  • Ensure compliance with national and provincial veterinary laws.
  • Provide strategic leadership in animal health and food safety.

2. Director – Supply Chain Management (Ref No: REFS/022121)

Location: Johannesburg (Head Office)
Salary: R1 216 824 per annum (all-inclusive package)

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 years of middle managerial experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme (Nyukela).
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
  • Strong financial and procurement management skills, knowledge of PFMA and SCM regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement processes, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies.
  • Oversee tender evaluation and award processes.
  • Ensure compliance with supply chain management policies.
