The Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB) is a statutory body established by Act 59 of 1995 with the mission to promote the development and equal use of all official South African languages. 1. Information and Communications Technology Administrator

Location: Head Office (Pretoria)
Remuneration: R376,413 per annum (with additional benefits such as Housing and Medical Allowance, 13th Cheque, and Provident Fund)
Ref No: ICT/2025

Job Purpose:

The ICT Administrator will provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, and assist with the maintenance and management of PanSALB’s information systems, infrastructure, and related ICT functions. This position will also involve supporting the Deputy Manager of the IT Division with strategic planning and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain business application systems in line with the ICT strategy.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for networks and end-users.
  • Develop and maintain backup systems and ensure software updates and virus scanning are current.
  • Identify risks, assess them, and propose improvements.
  • Manage and support the content management system.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in hardware, software, and network support.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional are advantageous.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

2. Senior Manager: Human Resources Management

Location: Head Office (Pretoria)
Remuneration: R1,216,824 per annum (All-inclusive package, with flexible structuring based on individual needs)

Job Purpose:

The Senior Manager of Human Resources will oversee HR strategy, recruitment, employee relations, and talent management. This role requires managing HR services, advising leadership on human resources issues, and ensuring the development and implementation of HR strategies that support PanSALB’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop HR strategies, plans, and policies.
  • Manage the HR budget and implement HR procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with HR legislation and regulations.
  • Implement talent management and employee performance systems.
  • Oversee employee wellness, occupational health, and safety programs.
  • Represent PanSALB in all CCMA and Labour Court cases.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Senior Certificate and a degree in Human Resources (NQF Level 7) or equivalent. A Master’s Degree in HR is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of extensive HR experience, with 3-4 years at a managerial level.
  • Knowledge of HR legislation, PFMA, payroll systems, and job evaluations.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
