The Western Cape Department of Social Development is calling for applications for the position of Registry Clerk: Logistical Services in the Cape Winelands/Overberg Region. Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

As a Registry Clerk, your duties will include:

  • Providing registry counter services and handling client inquiries.
  • Receiving, registering, and dispatching incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Filing and record management, including opening and closing files according to the record classification system.
  • Sorting and archiving documents, and preparing files for scanning, disposal, or archiving.
  • Operating office machinery related to the registry function, such as franking machines.
  • Processing documents for archiving or disposal.
