Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in an administrative or corporate services environment is an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, honesty, integrity, and basic computer literacy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preference will be given to candidates from the local area where the position is based.


2. Administration Clerk – Asset and Stores Management (2 Posts)

Directorate: Logistical Management and Auxiliary Services
Salary: R216 417 – R254 928 (Level 05)
Centre: Amathole East

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Exposure to an administrative or corporate services environment is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills, client focus, and basic numeracy.

3. Senior Housekeeping Supervisors (Shift Work System)

Requirements:

  • A Grade 9 or school leaving certificate and testimonial from the principal.
  • Previous experience in supervising learners in special schools or hostels is required.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, laundry equipment, and first aid is essential.

4. Housekeeping Supervisors (Shift Work System)

  • Grade 9 or school leaving certificate and testimonial from the principal.
  • Prior experience in supervising household aids.
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment, knowledge of food hygiene, and first aid.

5. Security Guard (Shift Work System)

Requirements:

  • Basic Security course and basic education training.

6. General Worker (Shift Work System)

  • ABET qualification and at least 2 years of experience in a cleaning services environment.

7. Teacher and Class Assistants

  • Grade 10 or school leaving certificate.

8. Driver/Handyman

Salary: R155 148 – R182 757 per annum (Level 03)

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 or school leaving certificate and letter from the principal.
  • Valid driver’s license (Code 8/10/14) and Public Drivers Permit (PDP).
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work with learners.

9. Food Service Aid (Shift Work System)

Salary: R131 265 – R154 626 per annum (Level 02)
Unit: Special Schools

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 1 to 4 qualification and experience in food service preparation, hygiene, and etiquette.
  • Strong communication skills, organisation skills, and teamwork.
