1. Chief Director: Driving Licence Card Account

  • Ref No: DOT/HRM/2025/01
  • Location: Pretoria
  • Salary: R1,436,022 per annum (Level 14)
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • NQF Level 7 Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or Auditing
    • 5 years’ experience in a senior management finance role
    • Completion of the National School of Government’s SMS Pre-Entry Programme
    • Strong knowledge of PFMA, risk management, and financial controls

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee driving licence production operations
  • Develop and maintain IT and risk management frameworks
  • Manage financial administration and budget for the Driving Licence Card Account Trading Entity
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Lead and manage the Chief Directorate team

2. Chief Director: Road Engineering Standard

  • Location: Pretoria
  • Salary: R1,436,022 per annum (Level 14)
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • NQF Level 7 Qualification in Civil Engineering
    • 6 years’ experience in road infrastructure development and management (5 years at senior management level)
    • Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Engineering Technologist (Advantageous)
    • Completion of the National School of Government’s SMS Pre-Entry Programme

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update road infrastructure standards and guidelines
  • Oversee road construction and maintenance technology
  • Manage Road Asset Management Systems (RAMS) in line with GIAMA compliance
  • Lead road safety audits and disaster management initiatives
  • Drive policy implementation and research within road engineering
