About the Role
Eskom is seeking skilled and qualified individuals to perform transmission power line inspection, maintenance, repair, and restoration tasks in various locations, including Peninsula CLN (x2), West Coast CLN (x1), and Namaqua CLN (x1). This is an exciting opportunity to work with Eskom’s Western Grid in Bellville and Upington.

Minimum Requirements
To apply for this position, you’ll need to meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:
- Qualification(s): Trade Certificate in Electrical or related field.
- Related Experience: At least 2 years of technical experience in electrical work or transmission lines.

- ORHVS Outcome 2 authorization (to take plant handover under supervision).

- Proficiency in performing line inspections and servitude maintenance.
- Ability to investigate faults and repair electrical hardware.
- Knowledge and adherence to Zero Harm principles.
- Strong ability to engage with customers and manage stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your primary duties will include:
- Performing line inspections and servitude maintenance for electrical transmission lines.
- Conducting hardware defect repairs and troubleshooting line faults.
- Ensuring adherence to Zero Harm principles and safety procedures.
- Assisting during emergency situations to restore services.
- Managing customer and stakeholder relations effectively.
