About FASSET
FASSET is a Schedule 3A Public Entity under the Department of Higher Education and Training, responsible for skills development within the finance and accounting services sector.
Job Purpose
The Administrator will be responsible for administering monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and track Annual Performance Plan (APP) targets.
- Administer M&E monitoring tools and performance validation.
- Facilitate accurate reports on the status of Portfolios of Evidence (POEs).
- Coordinate the FASSET departmental operational plans.
- Develop and execute site visit schedules, tracking slow-moving projects.
- Implement evaluation studies, including data collection and analysis.
- Support the M&E Specialist in survey circulation and reporting.
- Administer the Skills Sector Plan (SSP) to inform M&E objectives.
- Ensure compliance with SETMIS frameworks and optimize operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Science, Statistics, Internal Audit, Business Management, Public Administration, or Project Management.
- A Postgraduate Qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Public sector and SETA M&E experience is an advantage.
- Exposure to programme and project implementation is beneficial.
Competencies & Skills Required
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
- Project management and coordination experience
- Advanced computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks: PFMA, POPIA, PAIA, Skills Development Act, PSET, King Codes of Corporate Governance
