Available Positions

1. Staff Nurse (Grade 1 – Grade 3)

Salary: R209,112 โ€“ R362,187 per annum
Location: Rosenhof Special School, Bloemfontein

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Experience working with youth with severe emotional and behavioral challenges is an advantage.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Staff Nurse Grade 1: No experience required.
    • Staff Nurse Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years of appropriate experience after registration with SANC.
    • Staff Nurse Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years of appropriate experience after registration with SANC.

Duties:

  • Provide basic clinical nursing care according to professional standards.
  • Promote quality nursing care in accordance with facility guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and the medical team.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic healthcare services.
  • Support and advocate for patients’ rights and needs.

2. Child and Youth Care Worker (Grade 1 – Grade 3)

Salary: R174,711 โ€“ R231,042 per annum
Location: Rosenhof Special School, Bloemfontein

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • A Child Youth & Care Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in working with youth with severe emotional and behavioral challenges is an added advantage.

Duties:

  • Support and assist educators and learners in addressing barriers to learning.
  • Render child and youth care services to learners experiencing social and emotional challenges.
  • Promote holistic development and provide protection for learners in need.
  • Develop Individual Developmental Plans (IDP) for learners and review progress regularly.
  • Maintain records and progress reports for learners under care.
