The Gauteng DCS is currently recruiting for the following positions:
1. Deputy Director: Social Crime Prevention (Central Corridor)
- Ref No: REFS/022129
- Salary: R849 702 per annum (all-inclusive remuneration package)
- Requirements:
- Matric plus a National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Social Sciences, Community Development, or Policing.
- 5-7 years of experience in Social Crime Prevention or Community Development, including 3 years at junior management level.
- No criminal record and a valid driver’s license (code 08/10).
- Duties:
- Implement Social Crime Prevention strategies.
- Conduct networking sessions with NGOs and stakeholders.
- Implement school safety and substance abuse prevention programmes.
- Manage service delivery improvement and resources.
