Primary Function of the Role:
The Pointsmen will play a crucial role in patrolling assigned areas, helping to enforce laws and maintain public safety in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Act and other relevant legislation, such as the National Road Traffic Act. This position also involves crime prevention and supporting local communities in ensuring safety, especially near schools and busy areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Traffic Management and Control: Assisting in regulating traffic to ensure smooth flow and public safety.
- Community Engagement: Participate in initiatives that improve public safety, ensuring service delivery aligns with the Batho Pele Principles (people-first service).
- School Patrol: Contribute to the safety of schools in your assigned area, preventing potential safety issues.

Minimum Requirements:
