Current Vacancies:

  1. Consultant: Medical Management (x5)
    Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
    Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract (36 months)
    Salary: R501,775.00 per year

    • Conduct medical assessments and compile injury assessment reports.
    • Review submitted claims, ensuring the appropriate level of care and cost efficiency.
    • Pre-authorise claims in line with RAF clinical guidelines.
    • Manage exception handling processes and provide administrative support to claims processing.
    • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for complex cases.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences/Medical-related fields.
    • Registration with HPCSA/SANCA.
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a medical-related environment.
  2. Senior Officer: Field Case Management (x4)
    Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
    Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
    Salary: R579,259.00 per year

  3. Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage the rehabilitation and healthcare needs of injured claimants.Coordinate referrals to medical service providers.Monitor claimant rehabilitation and facilitate necessary adjustments such as home and car modifications.Review claims invoices to ensure they meet RAF guidelines and prevent fraudulent claims.Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare providers.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Nursing/Allied Health Professions or a related qualification.
    • Registration with the relevant Health Professions Council.
    • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the medical field, with experience in a managed healthcare environment.
    • A valid Code 8 driver’s license.
