1. Occupational Health and Safety Officers

Location: Groenkloof National Park (Head Office)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement incident reporting systems and procedures.
  • Coordinate periodic audits, workplace inspections, and surveillance schedules.
  • Conduct statistical analysis of incidents and report on trends.
  • Liaise with internal and external professional bodies and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). A degree in Health and Safety Management is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of experience in OHS.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to manage people, finances, and resources effectively.

Salary: R354,947.02 – R579,755.23 per annum

2. Vision 2040 Manager: Environmental Sustainability and Resilience

Location: Groenkloof National Park (Head Office)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice on environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and green economy practices.
  • Analyze trends in climate change and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies, policies, and programs to promote sustainable environmental practices.
  • Lead research initiatives and foster partnerships with research institutions and organizations.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in environmental sustainability, resilience, and climate change mitigation.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and provide policy analysis.
  • Strong communication, monitoring, and evaluation skills.

Salary: R1,042,469.33 – R1,709,150.88 per annum

3. Vision 2040 Manager: Community Tourism

Location: Groenkloof National Park (Head Office)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of community-based tourism strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for tourism development and investment in Mega Living Landscapes.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and provide training to local communities and tourism operators.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of tourism programs on local livelihoods.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in tourism, sustainable development, or related fields.
  • 5-7 years of experience in tourism development.
  • Ability to manage community-based tourism programs and identify gaps in Mega Living Landscapes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.

Salary: R771,106.55 – R1,264,241.97 per annum

4. Officer: Administration

Location: Groenkloof National Park (Head Office)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and diary management for the CEO.
  • Take minutes and ensure compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to budgets, procurement, and reporting.
  • Provide support in the execution of operational duties and improve service delivery.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Admin/Secretarial/Office Management.
  • 3 years of experience in administrative or secretarial support.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).

Salary: R282,919.52 – R462,106.49 per annum
