Job Purpose
The selected candidates will conduct standard limited scope audits or verifications based on risk profiling to ensure compliance with SARS regulations and tax laws.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Option 1:
- Qualification: National Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or Auditing (NQF6)
- Experience: 3-4 years in Auditing/Finance, with at least 1-2 years at a knowledge worker level
Option 2:
- Qualification: Senior Certificate (NQF 4)
- Experience: 6 years in Auditing/Finance, with at least 1-2 years at a knowledge worker level
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Conduct limited scope audits to ensure tax compliance.
- Apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in audit activities.
- Plan and organize work efficiently to meet SARS targets.
- Identify potential risks and escalate violations where necessary.
- Prepare reports with actionable recommendations.
