Key Requirements for All Positions:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience.
- A valid Code B (or higher) driving licence is essential. Individuals with disabilities who have access to transport may also apply.
Competencies Required:
- Knowledge of policies, legislation, and standards in public service.
- Understanding of community composition and its functioning in the Western Cape.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven computer literacy (MS Office).
- Ability to self-manage and adhere to timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a municipal monitoring tool.
- Collect, validate, and evaluate municipal data.
- Prepare and disseminate information to relevant stakeholders.
- Draft annual municipal performance reports as per the Municipal Systems Act.
- Manage human resources and performance within the sub-directorate.
