About the Role
As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant at AGSA, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and recruiting talented graduates across South Africa. You will also manage relationships with universities, oversee marketing initiatives, and support interview and onboarding processes. Your role is crucial in ensuring that AGSA maintains a strong pipeline of qualified Chartered Accountancy trainees who will support the institution’s audit and governance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
University Engagement & Marketing
- Develop and manage a database of target universities
- Plan, coordinate and attend recruitment visits across tertiary institutions
- Build relationships with university stakeholders
- Organise BU participation and maintain sufficient marketing collateral
- Identify opportunities for academic sponsorships
Recruitment Process Management
- Source and shortlist CVs
- Conduct candidate interviews and ensure contract issuance
- Monitor Employment Equity (EE) targets for trainee accountants
- Collaborate on recruitment campaigns and initiatives
Relationship & Pipeline Management
- Maintain relationships with university career centres and accounting heads
- Guide internal business units on graduate initiatives
- Manage and track future graduate candidates to build a recruitment pipeline
Requirements
Education:
- Minimum: HR-related or BCom Diploma
- Preferred: HR-related or BCom Degree
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in graduate recruitment
- Exposure to branding and marketing campaigns
- Project management experience related to learnership schemes
Skills:
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Basic Excel and administrative skills
- Familiarity with procurement processes
- Understanding of the CA(SA) qualification route
