Location: Tshwane House (functioning across the City of Tshwane)
Appointment Type: Permanent (subject to employment contract, performance agreement, and financial disclosure)

Requirements
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in Financial Management or a related field
- A master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field will be an added advantage
- Registration with a relevant professional body is advantageous
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in a financial management environment, with at least five years at senior management level, preferably in local government
- Experience in banking and investment banking will be an added advantage
- Valid Code B driver’s licence
- No criminal record; candidates will undergo security vetting
- Must undergo a competency assessment
- Computer literacy required
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of policy, legislation, and performance management
- Governance and supply chain management knowledge
- Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000 (Act 5 of 2000)
- Ability to make strategic and high-risk decisions
- Compliance with MFMA unit standards (advantageous)
