Post Title: Chief Audit Executive

Salary: R1,628,300 – R2,116,800 per annum (all-inclusive package)
Contract: 5-Year Fixed Term
Reporting Line: Chief Executive Officer

Purpose:
To provide strategic direction and manage the implementation of the Audit Management Framework, ensuring compliance with internal audit standards, statutory regulations, and HDA policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic and operational audit planning
  • Managing internal and external audits
  • Reporting to the Audit and Risk Committees
  • Ensuring governance, risk mitigation, and compliance
  • People and financial management

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Auditing, Finance Management, or related field
  • Registered CIA or PIA (essential); MBA or CA (SA) is advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years of audit management experience, 5 years in senior management
  • Strong understanding of PFMA, Treasury regulations, internal audit frameworks, King reports

Post Title: Executive Manager: Office of the CEO

Salary: R1,628,300 – R2,116,800 per annum (all-inclusive package)
Contract: 5-Year Fixed Term
Reporting Line: Chief Executive Officer

Purpose:
To provide strategic and operational support to the CEO and assist in leading the Agency’s human settlement delivery model and programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the strategic vision for the HDA
  • Oversee operational strategy, programme integration, and stakeholder engagement
  • Governance and compliance with PFMA, HDA Act, and related frameworks
  • Built environment and infrastructure project oversight
  • Financial and people management

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction, or Built Environment
  • Master’s degree (e.g. MBA, MBL) is advantageous
  • 3–5 years of senior management experience in government infrastructure
  • Knowledge of MFMA, PFMA, and intergovernmental frameworks
  • Experience in human settlements and public sector land asset management
