1. IT Systems Administrator
- Department: ICT, Office of the Municipal Manager
- Task Grade: 12
- Salary Scale: R394,552 (plus normal council benefits)
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric Certificate
- Diploma in Information Technology or certifications like CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Certified Secure User, or Microsoft Certified Professional
- At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
2. Senior Admin Officer – HR
- Department: Human Resources, Corporate & Shared Services
- Task Grade: 11
- Salary Scale: R334,201 (plus normal council benefits)
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric with at least 7 years of relevant experience, OR
- National Diploma in Human Resources Management with at least 3 years of experience in a municipal environment
- Knowledge of the PAYDAY system is advantageous
3. Admin Officer
- Department: Administration, Corporate & Shared Services
- Task Grade: 11
- Salary Scale: R334,201 (plus normal council benefits)
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 with Tertiary Education
- 3 years of related work experience
- Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing printing and distribution services for the committee’s section
- Supervising subordinates including caretakers and cleaners
4. Building Inspector
- Department: Building Control Unit, LED & Planning
- Task Grade: 11
- Salary Scale: R334,201 (plus normal council benefits)
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 plus a three-year qualification in Building and Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
5. Community Development Officer
- Department: Office of the Speaker, Municipal Manager
- Task Grade: 11
- Salary Scale: R334,201 (Month-to-Month Contract, No Benefits)
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Public Administration or Equivalent
- Code B Driver’s License
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
6. Traffic Officer
- Department: Traffic & Licensing, Public Safety & Community Services
- Task Grade: 8
- Salary Scale: R223,313 (plus normal council benefits)
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 11
- Registered Traffic Officer and Examiner of Driving Licenses
- At least 1 year of experience as a Traffic Officer
- Code B Driver’s License
7. Bulldozer Operator (Re-advertisement)
- Department: Cleansing, Public Safety & Community Services
- Task Grade: 6
- Salary Scale: R164,058 (plus council benefits)
- Qualifications and Experience:
- ABET Level 3 (Intermediate Literacy and Numeracy)
- At least 12 months of relevant experience
