Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Manager
- Reference Number: FICTM/04/2025
- Paterson Grade: D-Upper
- Salary: R646,500 – R1,228,400 per annum
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the ICT environment
- At least 5 years’ experience in ICT project implementation
- DPSA ICT governance and regulatory experience (advantageous)
Key Duties:
- Develop a 3-year ICT strategy and budget aligned with the NCR’s overall strategy
- Manage the ICT Department, including planning, reporting, and performance management
- Oversee ICT infrastructure, assets, risk management, and compliance
- Provide ICT support to all departments and executive committees
- Lead procurement processes for ICT-related needs
- Maintain business continuity, disaster recovery services, and network security systems
- Manage all ICT projects and contracts, ensuring seamless integration with NCR operations
- Collaborate with auditors and address any audit findings
Skills and Competencies:
- ICT infrastructure setup and troubleshooting
- Budgeting, project management, and financial management
- Risk management and audit management
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure, conflict resolution, negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal and ethical professional conduct
