As a Schedule 3A entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), the NLC is dedicated to regulating the South African lotteries and administering the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund (NLDTF). Available Positions:
1. Security Management Specialist (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)
- Purpose: Lead the NLC’s security operations, developing strategies to strengthen security procedures and processes.
- Required Qualifications:
- National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Safety, Security, Risk Management, or related fields.
- SSA Security Managers course or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Implement security policies, emergency response plans, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee asset protection, evaluate security operations, and train staff in security procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
- Required Skills:
- Problem-solving, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of security systems and risk management.

2. Travel Officer X2
- Purpose: Coordinate travel, logistics, and office requirements for NLC business units.
- Required Qualifications:
- National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Office Administration, Procurement, Tourism, or Logistics.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage travel bookings, monitor costs, ensure compliance with travel policies, and coordinate logistics for training sessions and meetings.
- Reconcile travel expenses and liaise with travel agents.
- Provide general office support and ensure all travel and office-related activities are within budget.
- Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing travel accounts and understanding of public sector regulations.

3. Head: Corporate Services (12-Month Contract)
- Purpose: Lead the Corporate Services portfolio, managing functions such as human capital, communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, and facilities.
- Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (NQF level 9) in Public Administration, Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead corporate services, drive strategic direction, and ensure operational excellence.
- Oversee human capital management strategies, communications, marketing, and facilities management.
- Develop and implement systems for knowledge management, employee relations, and risk management.
- Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of human capital management, marketing, stakeholder relations, and risk management.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
